About the Role
The Baobab Tree is seeking a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer to design and implement educational programs that engage and inspire students in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This role requires a deep understanding of educational needs and the development of culturally relevant curriculum materials.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and evaluate educational materials and programs.
Collaborate with teachers and educational experts to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
Adapt existing educational resources to meet local needs and standards.
Conduct training sessions for teachers on the new curriculum.
Continuously update curriculum based on feedback and educational research.
Skills Needed:
Background in education, curriculum development, or instructional design.
Strong understanding of pedagogical theories and curriculum standards.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Project management experience.
Bilingual proficiency in French to ensure effective communication with local educators and stakeholders.
